Who Inspired me to be an Author?

As an English Language Learner, my journey was not always easy. Growing up, I faced challenges with both reading and writing. I often wished for more resources to support my literacy development while also balancing the fundamentals of my primary language, Spanish. Throughout my school years, I encountered classmates who would make fun of my heavy Spanish accent, which was disheartening. Even in college, I remember my advisor pointing out a decline in some of my grades due to the demanding writing courses I struggled with. However, I firmly believe that these struggles were a means for God to strengthen me. It was through journaling that I discovered a sense of peace and a closer connection to God. Although I didn't realize it at the time, expressing my experiences through writing allowed God to develop a skill I was weak in and use it for His glory. Today, I can confidently say that I am a writer because of the love and grace God has shown me. Through my writing, He has allowed me to truly flourish and become the author I am today.
